Privacy policy

BitzGaming (https://www.bitzgaming.com) is operated by Blackbird Corporation. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it. Playing does not require an account or an email address.

Who is responsible

Blackbird Corporation is the operator of BitzGaming. For privacy requests, email hello@blackbirdcorporation.com.

What we don't collect

We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect a name, payment card, or login. We do not sell lists of players.

What stays on your device

Game scores and your cookie choice are stored in your browser (localStorage, keys such as bitzgaming:score:… and bitzgaming-consent-v2). That data stays on your device until you clear site data or change cookie settings. We cannot read those scores from our servers.

Cookies and similar technology

A banner asks you to accept or reject optional cookies. You can change that later via Cookie settings in the footer. Strictly necessary storage (your choice, and game scores) is used to run the site. A short-lived cookie named bz_geo stores a country code copied from the hosting network's IP-country header, so the page can tell whether advertising consent applies. The page HTML does not change with that country. The cookie is not an advertising profile.

Google Analytics (gtag, measurement ID G-DE5G59BZC6). Used only if you allow analytics cookies in Cookie settings. Google processes page views, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and referral information so we can see which pages are used. Google's own terms and privacy policy apply to that processing.

Vercel Web Analytics. A cookieless page-view measurement runs so we can see which pages are opened and, when a link includes them, the utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign values (for example a post from X or a score someone shared). It does not use an advertising cookie and it is not a player profile. Vercel describes this product in their analytics privacy note.

Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-7868527037658097). We publish an ads.txt file and a site verification tag so Google can confirm the publisher. The AdSense script is not loaded, so Google does not place auto ads, vignettes, or anchor overlays. Personalized advertising cookies run only after you allow advertising in Cookie settings (Consent Mode defaults to denied). Legal and contact pages do not carry our display units. You can learn more and opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings and, for EU/UK users, via Your Online Choices. We publish an ads.txt file so buyers can confirm authorised sellers.

Advertising

BitzGaming uses third-party advertising partners (including Adsterra / Profitableratecpmnetwork and, where configured, Google AdSense). These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver advertising, measure performance, limit repeated ads, and understand interactions. Visible units are labelled as advertisements. We do not use social bars, vignettes, or other full-screen interstitials. A pop-under may open behind this tab when you click a page other than the home page. It does not run on the home page, or on privacy, terms, or contact. Every page may include one Native Banner. On a game page it sits at the bottom, after the how-to, questions, and guides, with that whole section between it and the board, so it is not between the game and its controls and not beside results, Play again, or Play next. On a guide it sits at the bottom, after the article and the related links. Elsewhere it follows a block of content, including on about, privacy, terms, and contact. A real section also sits between that native unit and any fixed banner. If the partner returns nothing, the slot stays out of the layout — no label and no empty gap — and it only opens while it is fully below the screen. Fixed banners (728×90 on a wide screen, 320×50 on a phone) may sit after the opening section, between sections, and above the footer, away from game controls. They are not placed on privacy, terms, or contact. A phone may also show a closable banner along the bottom. That bar is hidden on a game page, including Play next, results, and the share sheet, and closing it lasts for that browser session. Advertising scripts load only on bitzgaming.com and www.bitzgaming.com. Visitors in the EU, the EEA (including Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), the UK, Switzerland, and visitors whose country we cannot tell see those units only after they allow advertising. Visitors elsewhere see them without that click. Rejecting advertising in Cookie settings turns the units off on this device either way. Accepting in a region that asks first mounts the units immediately. A banner zone with no key configured is not shown. A Native Banner script waits until its slot is near the screen. You can change the choice at any time via Cookie settings.

Legal bases (UK / EEA)

Necessary storage is used to provide the site you asked for. Analytics and advertising cookies are used where you have given a choice through the banner, and as described by Google when their tags run. Cookieless page-view measurement is used to see which pages and tagged links are used. You can withdraw advertising consent at any time in Cookie settings.

How long we keep data

Scores and consent stay on your device until you delete them. Google Analytics and AdSense retention follows Google's product settings and policies. Vercel Web Analytics retention follows Vercel's product settings.

Children

The site is a general games site, not directed at children under 13 (or the digital-consent age in your country). Do not send us personal information about a child.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what data we hold, to correct it, or to object to certain processing. Email hello@blackbirdcorporation.com. For scores stored only on your device, clear site data in your browser. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Visit increment

Once per browser session we may send a first-party ping that increments an aggregate visit counter. It is not shown as a live “people playing” number and it is not a personal profile.

Hosting logs

Our host (and, when used, a database provider) may keep ordinary technical logs (IP address, time, pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use those logs to build a player profile.
