How Lights Out works on BitzGaming

• Five lamps light in sequence, then a random hold, then all turn green.
• Tap, click, or press Space on green. The recorded time is milliseconds from green to your input, rounded.
• Any input during the hold is a false start. That run has no time.
• Lower milliseconds is better. The best successful time is stored on this device.
• Browser timers, display lag, and your input device all add delay. Two phones will not match.

How to play Lights Out

• Open Lights Out. Rest a finger or thumb before you start.
• Watch the five lamps. Do not guess the hold.
• Go only when all five are green.

Strategy for this board

• Look at the row, not a single lamp. The go-signal is the whole set turning green.
• Do not bounce on Space during the hold. Anticipation is how false starts happen.
• Warm up once. The first tap after a cold page is often slower.

Best successful time stays in localStorage. False starts do not overwrite it.
