How Pit Lane Limiter Scores a Miss

By BitzGaming Editorial · Updated 12 September 2026

Speed climbs; you tap near 80.0 five times. Score is the average absolute miss. Example: misses 0.4, 1.2, 0.1, 0.8, 0.5 → 0.60.

Pit Lane Limiter is a precision tap. Speed rises on its own. You try to press Limiter at 80.0, five times. Not an official racing tool.

Play Pit Lane Limiter now. This note describes the BitzGaming board — not a generic version of the genre.

How Pit Lane Limiter works here

  • The target is 80. Each press records |value − 80|.
  • You get five entries. The score is the average of those five absolute misses.
  • Example: misses 0.4, 1.2, 0.1, 0.8, 0.5 average to 0.60.
  • The stored best is the lowest average (stored as hundredths internally).

How to play Pit Lane Limiter

  • Open Pit Lane Limiter. Watch the number climb.
  • Press Limiter when you think it will land on 80.0.
  • Repeat until five marks are in.

Strategy that matches this board

  • Lead the target slightly — your tap and the next paint are not the same instant.
  • Do not chase a bad first mark by stabbing. Each entry is equal in the average.
  • A miss of 2.0 on one entry ruins a set of 0.2s. Stay smooth.

Personal best

Lowest average miss on this device. Units are the on-screen miss, not kilometres as a real car.

Questions about this implementation

What if I tap after 80?
Overshoot still counts as an absolute miss. 81.2 is a 1.2 miss, same as 78.8.
