How to Play Mines on BitzGaming (Not Minesweeper)
By BitzGaming Editorial · Updated 12 September 2026
Choose 1, 3, 5 or 7 mines. Safe tiles score; a mine ends the round. Score = safe² × difficulty × 10.
Mines is a short risk board. It is not classic Minesweeper: there are no numbered neighbour clues in the usual way, and you pick how many mines to hide before you start.
Play Mines now. This note describes the BitzGaming board — not a generic version of the genre.
How Mines works here
- You choose 1, 3, 5, or 7 mines. Higher counts use a higher difficulty multiplier (1, 1.4, 1.8, 2.3).
- Turning a safe tile adds to the safe-tile count. A mine ends the round.
- Score = (safe tiles found)² × difficulty × 10, rounded. Clearing every safe tile is a perfect run.
- Marks exist so you can remember tiles you do not want to touch yet.
How to play Mines
- Open Mines. Pick a mine count, then begin.
- Turn tiles one by one. Stop if you like — a mine still ends the run if you press one.
- A perfect clear of all safe tiles is the top outcome for that mine count.
Strategy that matches this board
- Low mine counts are for learning the board size. High counts pay more if you survive.
- Because there is no cash-out wallet, the “strategy” is how far you push before the next tap feels like a coin flip.
- This is not a real-money game. There are no stakes, deposits, or prizes.

Questions about this implementation
- Is this Minesweeper?
- No. Same family of hidden mines, different rules and scoring.
