How Odd One Out Builds a Round
By BitzGaming Editorial · Updated 12 September 2026
Four numbers; three share even / ×5 / tens / teens. 15 seconds. The hint names the rule after you pick.
Each round builds four numbers from one of four pattern kinds in the engine. Three obey the rule; one does not.
Play Odd One Out now. This note describes the BitzGaming board — not a generic version of the genre.
How Odd One Out works here
- Kind 0: three even numbers (2–9)×2; the odd one is odd.
- Kind 1: three multiples of 5; the outsider is chosen not to be a multiple of 5.
- Kind 2: three “round tens”; the outsider is not a multiple of 10.
- Kind 3: three teens (11–19); the outsider is 21–40.
- Values are shuffled. If a collision would make fewer than four distinct numbers, the engine regenerates.
- Scoring and the 15-second clock follow the same family as the other micro games (correct adds, streak tracked).
How to play Odd One Out
- Open Odd One Out. Start 15 seconds.
- Look for even/odd, last digit 0 or 5, or the teen range.
- Tap the outsider. Keys 1–4 work.
Strategy that matches this board
- Check parity first — it is the cheapest filter.
- Then last digits (0 or 5).
- If three numbers sit in the teens, the outsider is the one outside 11–19.

Questions about this implementation
- Is the hint shown before I answer?
- The hint names the rule for feedback. Play as if you must find it yourself.
